Autumn

I know it's *technically* not autumn yet, but we can pretend, right? This season is my personal favorite. You can walk outside without feeling clamming, the leaves change and it's beautiful, we can start wearing cardigans, boots, and sweaters. And let's get back to the colors... a photographer's dream! The sun usually isn't too harsh and the bright orange, reds and yellows, create the perfect backdrop for outdoor pictures. Plus, it almost feels like a rebirth. Kids are back in school, we establish a routine again, and get a fresh start. And who can forget fresh peaches from local fruit stands, state fairs, carving pumpkins, pumpkin pie, etc, etc. I could go on and on, but this truly is my favorite time of the year.

I found this from Anthropology and it seemed like the perfect bucket list.

What's your favorite thing about autumn? Any exciting shoots coming up?

  • I love all the things about fall. Mostly, I love the smells of fall. The way the mornings smell new and crisp, fires burning in the evening, pumpkins and caramel; all of it seems so lovely and new every year.
